I can’t read him

I’ve known this guy for about a year now and we hangout every now and then, he’s flirty but nothing serious. He texted me saying “hey do you want to go out tomorrow? I was thinking a motorcycle ride”. So I went. He has me hop on his bike (it’s a cruiser with a backrest) and he tells me to hang on, my first instinct was to hang on to the backrest and he sees this and then grabs my arms and moves them to his waist. Later into the ride he takes my hands and repositions them so that I’m hugging him pretty tight and then takes his free hand and puts it on top of mine for a couple of minutes… he does this a couple more times

On the way back we passed a patch of wild roses, so he pulls over picks one and puts it in his pocket. After 2 hours he drives me back to my car and said he will text me later to make sure I made it home okay, he then follows me to my car waits for me to get in then hands me the rose and I said “oh thank you” and he says nothing and walks to his bike and leaves.

I hear from him 30 minutes later asking if I made it home okay so I replied

“I Did Thank you for the ride, it was fun :)”

And he replied “Yeah it was. I’m glad you had a good time. I hope ya like some of the pictures I took”

Me: “I do actually! A couple turned out pretty cool”

Him “Cool send me one”

So I did and he never replied. It’s been two days and I haven’t heard from him at all.

So my question is, would you give a rose to someone at the end of hanging out if you didnt want to see her again? Or if you only thought of her as a friend? Am I overthinking this?
