I've been basically single my whole life except a few dating and dates experiences. Majority of my life I just ignore it and live my life (which is probably a big reason why I'm single – I don't search). I've got my life together, nice hobbies, have the best friends, good grades and a great family I can always count on. I'm actually a very good single and don't really crave a relationship. But like once a year I feel the urge to get a boyfriend. I'm like "Come on, it's about time!"
It's this time of the year again hahah. I've tried dating apps but I get bored quite easily. Which is probably because I have the typical problem: I've been single for so long that I have high expectations – like why should I change my good life if it's not for someone who's totally worth it. And this may sound arrogant , but I also think that I deserve a good person because I'm also a good person to be with.
I'm afraid that if I stay too long in this singleness/independence it will get harder and harder for me to make a commitment. I literally don't even know how relationships work. At the same time, I'm also kind of frustrated that I still haven't found a guy that I like. So yeah, just your basic single, asking for some basic single advice. Thank you very much!
