I was with a girl for some time and for reasons I'm not going to go into here, it's over. We had THE connection. I've never experienced anything like that ever before. After a few months of feeling down, I started dating again. I've been with a few girls, sometimes it was bad, sometimes good. The thing I dread is it's never going to be like THAT ever again. When I'm with a girl now, I enjoy the time, I like her, I'm attracted, we have a connection. Just not in the same way, less. After some time I start to feel dishonest if I keep it going with someone I don't feel the way I used to with HER. At the same time, I know it's never going to be like that ever again. Every new person feels like settling for less. It shouldn't be like that. How do you deal with no person being able to stack up to someone from your past?
