I (17 F) have only ever been interested in girls and only dated girls. There is no doubt I love girls, I’m the type to develop quick crushes. I’ve never liked any guys, I’ve never really had guy friends either. But, I met a guy and I like him, and I don’t know if it’s in a romantic way or a friend way, all I know is I like his vibe. So, this guy (I’m pretty sure) started to crush on me right when my relationship with my last gf was just falling apart, we broke up and he tried to talk to me, I was friendly and did not reject his social advances but I was confused and didn’t want to date anyone right after a trash breakup. I wanted to get to know him more, that’s all I knew. Then, school was canceled because of covid! And I stopped seeing him in class and therefore stopped talking to him. It’s been a few months now, I’m pretty much over the breakup so my emotions are cleared a bit more and I found myself thinking about him again today wondering how he’s doing. I’m afraid of dating a guy, I’ve never done it, but I think I would like to get to know him more because 1) I like him in some way and 2) I want to know if I like boys. The thing is is I don’t want to be a jackass and treat him like an experiment. So here are my questions: 1)how transparent should I be with a potential boyfriend with the fact that I might end up not actually liking guys and actually being gay. Or should I just go into it and say I’m bi (even if I’m unsure of that) and 2) how do I get his attention, I have his Instagram but we have never talked outside of chatting in person. Like do I just dm him “hello” LOL. Boys/men if you were in this guys position what would you like the girl to do? I don’t know if he feels the same about me anymore, like I said it’s a couple months of quarantine later but… worth a try? Maybe??
