I (21 M) matched with a girl (20F) on tinder. We have been talking for 5 weeks now. It was going good for first 3 weeks then the conversations went cold( we just talked here and there) but now again I am talking with her regularly for 4 days. I have never been in a relationship and thus have little experience on relationship stuff. So I feel like I got to far with my texts.
So we were chatting and somehow the talk went to soulmates. So I said something like I think I have found my soulmate in you and she replied with heart emojis. I think I should have stopped there. Diffused the situation and made it more fun but I didn’t do it. I made it serious and typed what I really felt like ( it should have been on a call or in person imo) I told her that how I have really fallen for her even though we haven’t met in person( corona) and how this all feels like a dream and the best dream ever (minus the corona). She was on typing for like 10min and final reply came, “You are cute!”. I mean its not to bad but I feel like I may have put her in an awkward spot and I should have sent the message as it may make our conversations more awkward from now on.
I feel like I should have waited and should have told her either on call or IRL(which is unrealistic atm). Anyway to make the situation less awkward I wrote the message something like I will make the entry to my book titled woman who have called me cute and she will be the first entry as I never have been called cute by anyone else. Do you think this is enough to diffuse the situation ? How do I make sure due to this the conversations don’t go awkward from now on ? How do I flirt now that she knows exactly my feelings?
