Its funny when you hear stories about people finding their SO over a video game. Until it actually happens to you, well not quite thats why I’m asking for help. I always thought that Asian women would always go for white men, thats why I usually avoided them. This mindset changed today.
When the pandemic broke out I was stuck playing overwatch and I luckily found some really good friends to play with. In that group of friends I find my crush. Lets call her Ashe. We start out as good friends and learn that we have similiar goals and interests. We talk more and more and use discord as are new medium of communication and it led to a face reveal of everyone in the group. She is cute, but it didn’t matter to me since I started to like her over voice chat.
A lot has changed over the past weeks. Another guy has been trying to get at her, but she told me in private that she finds him annoying. Our conversation got to the point where we were talking about our akward teen years. I told her how I used to wear beanies all the time and Ashe told me she finds Mexicans (my race) who wears beanies cute. I replied, “well then I should start wearing beanies more often” She laughed and we continued our match. That conversation surprised me. That happened today.
What should I do next? She is really special to me and I would put in the effort towards a long distance relationship. Any tips are welcome!
