This is what I think is happening. I’ve been on this sub for about 6 or so months now [previous timeframe, it’s longer now – and the following assessment still applies] and this is the impression I get from the crowd that post on here. I will put them into classifications.
Group A: the good/nice guys, below average to average looking. They’re educated/successful for the most part. These are the guys that are on the never ending quest for ‘self-improvement’. Their goal is to find love and are looking for serious relationships but have a hard time getting dates (or at least with the type of women they desire which is strictly Group B but they wouldn’t mind Group D either). These guys usually have a defeated attitude/can be pessimistic. This group posts on here THE MOST.
Group B: attractive girls who are educated, have careers, and lots of other great things going for them but are struggling with finding “Mr. Perfect” AKA Group F1. Women in this category are used to getting a lot of male attention but they’re picky and prefer quality over quantity. They for sure want the top tier men and getting a man like that to settle down is a REAL challenge (even if you’re a woman of this caliber, you’ll know why when you read F1). These women can also be a little entitled. Their biggest fear is settling (for Group A). This is the second most populated group on Reddit.
Group C: nice girls, not top tier when it comes to looks, most likely average when it comes to physique/education/personality. They want serious relationships, get hit on by some men but struggle to find real connections. However, since they’ve grown up in a world where men weren’t always swooning after them, they’re pretty in tune with the reality of their situation – this group posts on here somewhat often. This group would likely be the best match for Group A but Group A is too busy trying to figure out why Group B girls aren’t into them and why the women in Group D are the way they are (you’ll know what I mean in a second).
Group D: this category belongs to the women that date freely and have no restrictions or conditions. Most of them are attractive, more so considered ‘hot’ rather than ‘beautiful’ or ‘pretty’. They are liberal with their sexuality and not necessarily set on finding love but if it happens, then they go with it but are also absolutely okay with just casual sex. These are the girls that the guys in group F1 and F2 enjoy sleeping with the most – anyways women in this group usually never post on Reddit, only occurs if they have some type of epiphany about their lifestyle choices.
Group F1: the “ideal” guy. Attractive, smart, good job, basically full package but either isn’t ready, isn’t looking or is way too picky and looking for a unicorn (a combination of smart/ambitious Group B, nice/humble Group C, attractive/hot Group D) so in the meantime, he just sleeps with girls in all three of those groups (but mostly B and D because girls in C aren’t “attractive enough” therefore don’t boost his ego). He does this as much as he can and probably does so successfully. Girls in Group B end up hating him because they almost had him but couldn’t make him commit, girls in Group C feel used by him because although they always knew he was out of their league, they hoped, and girls in Group D openly and freely have sex with him with no strings attached or expectations. This group NEVER posts on Reddit, they literally have nothing to complain about, they probably don’t even know what Reddit is. Majority of these guys eventually (and surprisingly) end up with women from Group C because they view them as the “least problematic”.
Group F2: this guy also gets a lot of action but he just isn’t as successful, as educated, as good looking or as high in demand as F1. He’s still confident though (think ‘swaggy’ confidence). This guy tends to strictly only pull girls in Group C and D. Girls in Group B won’t look twice at him. F2 is the male version of Group D – this group is also NEVER on Reddit, and like F1, most likely has no clue what Reddit even is.
In a perfect world, A and C end up together. B and F1 together and D and F2 together. Everyone lives happily ever after. There, I just solved our dating problems LOL.
