I often worry that my boundaries are unreasonable and will be too much for most guys. Do I need to change?

Maybe im a little young to be on here (17f) so if this doesn't fit the sub by all means remove it.

I've never had a boyfriend, and sometimes I think I never will because of my strict personal boundaries. If/when I get a boyfriend, I expect him to not touch me sexually or kiss me until we've really got to know each other and are friends as well as dating. I would probably need at least a month to be comfortable with kissing. And at least a year before having sex. I need a lot of patience and understanding, and the reassurance that he sees me as a person and not just a body.

I know most young men are very keen to get into bed with a girl as quickly as possible and I worry that no one will be willing to wait around for very long. I've been criticized a lot by my peers for being a prude and "overreacting" to men's advances but it's difficult for me to deal with physical intimacy because I'm very sensitive to touch and I've had some bad experiences in the past, so I find it hard to trust men. I don't know if my expectations are realistic or if I'm just being ridiculous.
