If you like them, ask them out. Don’t wait. They’ll either say yes, or they’ll say no. If they say no, it won’t be pleasant, but then you can move on. If you don’t ask them, you will always wonder what could have been. Don’t wait because they might not be available later.

I really liked this guy and I was getting vibes that he liked me back. Well something happened that I'm pretty sure made him think that I'm not interested in him because he stopped texting me. I was working up the courage to ask him out. Well I just did and guess what, he's seeing someone else.
