I’m going to see my crush soon, what do I say?

I have had this crush on my friend for a long time, honestly since I've known her. We met through my ex's bestfriend, while I was with my ex, and for obvious reasons I couldn't been honest about my feelings. Fast forward a few years and I'm single with nothing to lose. I wanted to tell her after me and my ex split but the situation was alot more damaging to me than I anticipated and I wasn't ready to put myself out there again. By the time I was ready, life had taken us on different paths. She was a state away for school and I was stuck here with work and other responsibilities. We talked all the time and always tried to make plans when she was back in town. Eventually she decided to drop out and return home. I was excited because we would have plenty of time to spent together and I could tell her but once again fate decided the time wasn't right. This is the first time we have hung out in a few months and I can't wait. I just really don't know how to approach the situation but with how things have been going I don't know when I will get another chance to talk in person with her. Help!
