So I’m 25F from the U.K., a few months single and ready to dive back into the pool. Only issue is I often get called intimidating, and I’m not sure how to change that.
Physically I’m 6ft, black, and relatively attractive (or so I’ve been told!) so I assume that these things aren’t helping. If guys get past that though, I’ve had several back off when they find out I’m a doctor. When you get to know me however I’m quick to laugh and love a good conversation, things that I feel make me really easy to talk to.
I’m a bit at a loss for what to do as I can’t change a lot of these things, but what are some things I can do to make myself more approachable? Do I need to be even more forward to overcome some of those reservations guys might have?
If you’re a visual learner, feel free to skim my post history for a pic.
