So I've been texting this girl I matched with every day for more than two months. We haven't met thanks to the quarantine and I haven't brought it up since restrictions started loosening in our area fairly recently. In the past week, however, my ex unexpectedly decided she was interested in giving things another chance and I really want to see what there is there. I don't want to continue to text this girl while waiting to see if my ex and I will get back together because that's kind of shitty. I don't think that's fair to anyone. I've already dropped off from responding to her texts.
It feels very selfish but is it possible to end the text relationship with this girl without saying "I like someone more than you" and closing that door to getting to know them again if I'm unable to work things out with my ex?
