I’ve been talking to a guy from a dating app since February. We were going to meet then covid happened. We continued messaging consistently but infrequently and he said he’s excited to meet me. Today I sent a message suggesting we meet in a park and sit 6 feet apart as we’re allowed to meet one other outside so long as we social distance. Now I’m worried it was inappropriate to ask during a pandemic, should I have waited for him to ask or for pubs to reopen? I made it clear that I don’t mind if he feels it’s the wrong time now. Are 2 metre apart first meetings strange?
