Is he (30M) even interested in me (23F)?

So, I wanted to vent and get some feedback on what others think about this. If you find dating tough and anxiety provoking like me, you have probably asked yourself “is this person even interested in me?”.

I met a guy online one week ago. We had so much in common and chatted sun up to sun down over instagram. I finally met up with him in real life and we chatted for a few hours and had a couple drinks. He sat really far from me the entire time. Come 11 PM he tells me he has work tomorrow and has to head to bed. I felt a little embarrassed I was being asked to leave but I understood. So I grabbed my stuff and headed out and thanked him for having me. He sends me a message over instagram 5 minutes later telling me I “bolted out of his apartment so quickly and he wanted to kiss/hug me.” I laughed about it a little and just told him I had a great time and to save the kiss for the next time. He sends me a couple messages after that and by the next day his answers are basically 3 words long (haha thats funny, lol ew etc…). Eventually I stopped replying because it felt as if I was now carrying the conversation and in the week prior him and I were talking so much and there was never so much as an hour between messages. As of now, no one has sent a message for about 12 hours which sounds like the beginning of the end to me. NOTE WHERE I LIVE THERE IS NO LONGER A QUARANTINE

Now I am stuck wondering why he would send me a message about kissing me after I left his place. Is he even interested? What is the next move?
