I’ve (28F) only become official with a guy (31M) a week ago. We’ve been seeing each other since January. We both got pretty drunk on Saturday night. I asked him if he’s ever cheated and he said yes. It turns out he cheated on his last girlfriend with 4 other women. He’d been with her for 5 years, broke up with her after 3, then after she begged and pleaded he reluctantly got back together with her. This is when the cheating started. He would meet these women on dating apps.
He initially told me he’d only ever slept with 8 women. Now it turns out it’s at least 40. I am waiting for marriage. He respects this and hasn’t put any pressure on me to sleep with him. He said that he was immature/had unresolved issues and that I’m different and he can see himself marrying me. He promised he’d never do such a thing to me. I like him a lot and we have a nice time together. But I don’t know if I can look past his history. Should I run?
