Is it harder to move on from an almost relationship than it is to move on from an actual relationship?

I am (19F) and trying to move on from an “almost relationship” that I had from a tinder date who admitted he really liked me and saw potential in us. It’s taken me approx 9 months to sort of move on. He ended it with me after 3 weeks of talking (meeting twice) over a year ago because “he wasn’t ready for a relationship” but our last encounter/make out was in August, hence the 9 months (and talking on and off from feb-August 2019). He’s been in a serious relationship for 5 months so he’s definitely moved on.

I’ve never been in a relationship but I know people who manage who take only like 5-6 months to move on after breaking up from a serious relationship. It takes me approx 1 year to move on from crushes, I even had a massive obsessive celebrity crush for 6 years.

I just wanted to know is it easy to move on from actual relationships. Like I said I’ve never had that experience but I feel like it would be easier because you’ve gotten to know the person, experience everything (dates, social media official status, meeting the fam and friends, and have intimacy) while almost relationships are “what could’ve been” and you never got to experience the person’s true colours to judge what it would of been like. Hurts more when you see someone else in an actual relationship with that person and it looks perfect judging on social media and you think “that’s what could of been”.

Just curious.
