I (31f) met a guy (26m) for a one night stand last year. Oddly we got on so well and spent lots of time just hanging out. But neither of us wanted anything serious – as we had both got out of relationships and because of our age gap (being at different stages of life).
He asked if we could see each other again after the ons, and we hooked up/hung out a few more times, texting daily too.
We’ve recently got back in touch and met up again casually – and still get on great. I know this sounds pretty lame but I’d actually like for us to be friends, and stay on friendly terms even if we decided to not have sex in the future. Should I broach wanting the friendship element, or would that be off putting?
TLDR: Has anyone actually become friends with their fwb if you get on really well? Or is it better to stay in the grey area with no emotion/ties.
