Is this a turn off?

Trying to debate if this is something I should change about myself for future romantic relationships.. so I’ve been hooking up with this guy on and off for a year and I grew up with brothers so I make lots of poop jokes and I had no idea it was a turn off.. I stopped that cause they guy I was hooking up with told me it killed his boner and I understood.. but now I have my period and I want to have sex and I made a joke about him tasting my period blood and using it as a sauce (disgusting I know) but that’s just my sense of humor.. being vulgar and disgusting and awkward is v funny to me.. he told me his ex was never like that and while it’s funny it also kills his boner.. I was like that’s just my sense of humor ?‍♀️ I think a part of me just enjoys making people uncomfy too ? Should I stop being gross to have more romantic success or should I continue to be vulgar and gross when I feel like it and someone will accept me.. essentially do you guys have any exes that can be gross and vulgar and talk about poop and you still love them or are all guys across the board turned off by this Tdlr: are my disgusting vulgar jokes a turn off?
