I (27M) met this girl (27F) back in Jan in NYC and we messaged back and forth for a few weeks then went out for drinks. We hit it off and kissed the first night. After that we grabbed drink 2 more times and were kissing/affectionate with each other both nights. Now reading that it seems like things were going well..
But honestly I can't get a read on this girl. Even when we were setting up the previous meet ups she would always reschedule or flake the day of. I've tried to take her on a more serious date like dinner and we make plans but she'd flake or misremember each of those times.
Now COVID is here and we've still been texting since not being able to see each other. I can't tell if she's a bad texter or what…she tends to ignore certain texts I send and generally responds with very minimal messages. Now if I dont text her for a day, late at night she'll text me something generic like "hi babe" or "thinking of u" ect.
Now in corona-times she wants to talk on the phone so I call her and we chat and it's great – same energy we've had in person. But whenever i call her she always rejects my call at first…i find it so rude. then i have to basically send her a text to remind her to call me then she calls and we have a great chat.
I also feel like it's so hard to get her to open up emotionally to me as well. idk i can't really tell if this girl actually likes me or is keeping me on the bench and just chatting w a bunch of guys or what.
Anybody that can relate to this or translate what all this means would be helpful
