21 M btw, As many of you know in person dating is virtually impossible, I don’t wanna approach girls with masks on or while having a mask because it’s counter intuitive to the pandemic going on. I’ve tried virtual dating for a while now and it’s a travesty. A girl matched with me, (bumble btw) and never messages at all, or they message once, I respond, and nothing. Which is all well and good but it’s creating this problem where I can’t even fucking match with people, and I’ve only gotten 3 girls ever who text me. Not to mention I just finally got one girl to message me, we struck up some awesome conversation for like 2 days, basically texting eachother constantly and getting to know one another then all of a sudden the bomb drops that she only wants friends. I’m just confused, it’s a dating app, there is literally a friendship version of bumble, why lead me on for two days only for that to happen?
Is there anything I can do to increase my luck here, switch apps? Maybe pay money? Be less enthusiastic and more distant with them, or should I continue to be enthusiastic and committed to conversation?
