So I actually know of this guy in real life. We went to high school together,and he dated one of the girls in my classes who oddly enough has the same name as me,for years. I always thought he was so attractive,but he in a relationship with her for a long time. He was a few years older,so he didn’t know of me. We have a lot of mutual friends/family friends who really like him and say he’s a great guy.
Anyways,we’ve matched like 4 or 5 times on different apps. The first time we matched and he immediately messaged me that he thinks we’re practically the same person. That day I found out that my friend went behind my back and secretly told my college crush that I had a crush on them,and set us up on a date. I don’t like talking to multiple people at once,and was kind of shoehorned into that situation without my knowledge,so I ended up dating my crush for a few months.
After we broke up,this guy and I have kept matching over and over on different apps. Weirdly enough,he ended up adding me on Facebook too. I’m super interested but I’m too shy to do anything,plus I worry that it’s weird now that we’ve matched so many times.
He definitely recognizes me too. We live in a small town,have a lot of mutual friends. I saw him at a restaurant recently and he kept staring at me whenever he walked by. What should I do? We have a LOT in common,and I think it could really work out.
