I’m [18M] kinda at a loss for how I’d go about just initiating something, flirting, asking on a date, the works. So far, I’ve been in a short term long distance, and she was the one who initiated it. That ended a long while ago, and now that I’m in lockdown it’s really weird seeing everyone around me getting crushes and even getting into relationships and I’m just sitting here, doing jack shit. Pretty cliche but I feel like the side comic relief character to the main romance plot line. I’ve forgotten how to get a crush, even. I know it’d actually be to my detriment to try initiate a relationship since I’m literally in the last 6 months of my final year of high school. It’s a lot of stress, and if I initiate a relationship with someone in my home town, I run the risk of it being long distance again anyway because I’m moving away for Uni. A lot of people have told me I’ll find love at Uni and I’m fairly confident about that, but I also wanna be prepared to just know what to do and what not to do when you like someone and wanna start something with them. Leave any tips in comments! Many thanks
