Hi, I’m a (20M) and I could use some tips on how to be more romantic with a (19F) we’ve been talking for about two weeks now and today we just met in person! I believe the time we spent hanging out together went very well, we made each other laugh, flirted a little bit, and just talked about everything. It was our first time meeting so I was really focused on just getting to know her rather than being intimate.
While we hung out she mentioned that she doesn’t like when “men act like they don’t care” and I feel the same way about women who act that way. Usually how it goes though, is that the man in the relationship should be the one to initiate things but, I’m always worried about stepping over my boundaries, or making her think that I’m just another thirsty male who’s only objective is to just have sex.
So here we are now, I have accumulated feelings for this woman and I don’t want to screw up anything between me and her, I believe everything in a relationship should happen naturally as the bond between both partners continues to grow but, usually I get too patient until she has to be the one initiate intimacy and usually as they should they come to conclusion that I’m boring and I end up getting friend zoned.
For our next escapade she has considered it a “date” and we will both be stepping out together, I’m ready to see her again but, I want to be able to more romantic so she doesn’t think I’m boring, personality wise I believe she thinks I’m interesting. It’s just personally I believe I’m too nonchalant and unfortunately previous relationships have succumbed to fate, once this has become obvious things fall apart because during the talking phase there’s already another mate that will test his luck and touchdown.
Any tips are greatly appreciated, be blunt if you have to, I hope whoever reads understands what I’m talking about
