Ive been single all my life and have always wanted to get into a relationship. Prior to lockdown i was pretty active on dating apps and was talking to someone. But since lockdown, I realised that i enjoy spending time doing things i like, doing things for myself, and for the first time in a long time i feel like i don’t actually need or want a relationship.
I have pretty strong friendships and my relationship with my parents is great. So perhaps all along I have been emotionally sufficient and only crave romantic relationships for the intimacy. But with lockdown physical intimacy can’t happen anyway and thus don’t feel like there’s an appeal there. Also i have been exploring self pleasure so i guess sexual desires are being met too.
Anyone else feeling this way?
