Lost and confused?

I’m not sure if this is the right sub for this seeing as i’m not actually dating this boy but I really just want some advice 🙁 where i’m from, we’ve been in quarantine since about mid-march. I began talking to this guy (we have a lot of mutual friends) on instagram and he seemed really nice. after a few days of messaging each other, he asks for my handle on another social media platform. We move our conversations there and sooner or later we’re exchanging some NSFW messages/pictures. He even started calling me “babe” and “baby” which I like. What’s really gotten me down, though, is that i don’t know what his intentions are with me. I’m afraid to ask because if he has no intentions of being anything more than just a FWB i don’t want to look dumb. Though, I feel like i already do because this guy is driving me crazy. He hasn’t even asked for my number yet, but i really felt like we hit it off. am i being naive to think that this guy actually wants anything more with me than just to sleep with me once quarantine is over?
