(M23) Ok Reddit, help me out here. Saw a girl at a restaurant that I wasn’t necessarily friends with back in high school, but I always thought she was cute.

So I’m out to dinner with my parents and right as our entrees were being brought out, in walks a group of three women one of which was my age and beautiful and I immediately recognize her from high school. I remembered her first name but it took me about 10 minutes to remember her last name. She was sat on the other side of the restaurant and I didn’t have a good opportunity to go and chat up a storm (not with my abysmal social skills anyways). We made eye contact a couple times but nothing too telling. My question is: is there a way to utilize the magical tools of social media to break the ice without seeming creepy? The last thing I wanna be is another guy “sliding into her DMs”
