I (35f) was dating this guy (31m) and it started out great! He was so much of what I wanted in a guy—outdoorsy, kind, funny, smart, ambitious. Things seemed to fall in place so easily, then after we had sex the 3rd time, he kept losing his erection. This happened several times, which ultimately lead to him putting up and guard, pushing me away, and yesterday I ended things because he just changed. He was distant and making excuses for his behavior.
I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior before. Can someone please help me understand how someone can seem so interested in me on so many levels and then just completely shut down?
I’m a physician, make good money, am attractive, am a single mom. Was he intimated by me or the fact I have a kid? He says it’s nothing I did, but then mentioned that he felt so insecure about his ED that he wondered why I would be with him!
