Might just take a break from trying to land my first date even after the covid19 crisis ends.

I haven’t had any success in dating online or in person. Some attributed to height, race or some other thing I can’t really control. I don’t even answer the what is your height question anymore (my response with my height hasn’t gone over well at all). I just tell them that this isn’t going to work for me.

I respect their preferences and minimum requirements as I have my own too (in shape or in the process of taking their health seriously again, I don’t want to have kids, and at least aesthetically pleasing face wise).

If that’s too much to ask for and if I’m being told to lower my standards to women who I’m not attracted to emotionally and physically, then being single is probably much better. Although I’m sure being much older will decrease my pool as well.
