So there is the primarily we-know-which-ideology-dominated train of thought how women don't want nice guys. Guys pretending to be nice. People claiming they are nice in order to obtain something. But what even is niceness? Is niceness fakeness? Is it being the one who tells you only comfortable things, despite them being a lie, or making you uncomfortable with truths, in order to motivate you to better yourself? Is niceness treating someone not particularly bad for once and expecting them to sleep with you?
Why don't we reform the conception of "niceness", and instead, use words like reliable, dependable, decisive, loyal instead, as definitions of qualities?
