The girl I was in a relationship with for the past two years recently broke up with me with the reason that she doesn't want to be in a long term relationship. As you would expect, the breakup obviously messed me up. I went from being a happy guy to always either being frustrated or angry or depressed. When you try your best but you are still abondoned by the person you loved, it changes your entire viewpoint on life. But ofcourse I don't blame her for anything. Truth is at the start of the relationship she did tell me that she won't be there for long. I just never took that seriously thinking that she was saying all those because of her bad experiences with her past relationships. So for those who are still in the dating phase or for those who are in a relationship, even though I wish that things workout well for each of you, I also want to tell you that do-not ignore red flags like these. If ever your partner mentions something like these or does something that bothers you, have a serious conversation about it. While conversations like these maybe difficult to start, trust me, it will save you a lot of pain later. Lastly belive in murphy's law. If there is anything that you think can go wrong, trust that at some point of time it will definitely go wrong. Be well and remember to take care of yourself first.
