My girlfriend and I have only been dating for a few months. We started before the quarantine, decided we're exclusive, then boom: covid-19.
We sheltered in place apart, would go on socially distanced walks, etc. After two weeks of not contacting anyone else, we got together. We were planning on doing that, but she has been going out, seeing her friends, etc. I live with my elderly father who is high risk, so I can't be around anyone that may even possibly be carrying anything.
Every time we go on a walk, or sit apart on her lawn, she always begs me to kiss her, etc. And when I don't, she says it's hard to hear "no" all the time. I expressed to her that it's not that I don't want to, it's that it's not safe. In so many words she said I'm being paranoid because she's not sick.
Today we had an argument, and she essentially said I'm the reason we're not being physical. How do I deal with this? I'm leaning toward breaking up, because I feel like this is just a microcosm of how we'll deal with things as they come up. Particularly if they're difficult.
TL;DR: I live with my high-risk father and my girlfriend is saying I'm the reason we're not touching, even though the entire gov of the US and our state is telling us not to.
