My biggest roadblock in dating is my self-image. Kind of a hard thing to work on when I’m stuck at home all the time due to covid

In some ways my self-image is solid. I’ve accomplished a lot of things and I feel good in relation to those things. And I continually challenge myself and keep moving forward. But I really lack that many friends as well as good friends that are consistently there. I think this is where my self-image gets ugly. My social self-image (which is very relevant to dating). Being good at things doesn’t matter. I need to be good with normal relationships with people. Sometimes I feel like people don’t like me and it must be because I am flawed in some enormous ways. This is embellished by online dating experiences. So I think the best way for me to improve my self-image would be to focus on perfecting my people skills and proving that I can develop strong friendships (and therefore know that people like me). I think if I could do this I would begin to care less about what people do, what people think about me, etc. And this would make me come off as less needy and desperate. It would also probably make me happier. Therefore, I would be more attractive to women. That’s the idea.

Well, it’s a hard time to work on people skills and building friendships when you’re stuck at home all the time by yourself because of covid. So ready for this vaccine to come out
