My ex and I are both invited to a friend’s party, should I go?

I'm desperately looking to meet some new people (since quarantine), and probably get some potential dates down the line. But should I still go to this party if my ex will be there? I have no fucking clue of what she's been up to after we broke up 4 months ago. I just find it awkward to see her again and pretending nothing has happened.
