Long story short: I’m (M30) an online tutor. I met a Thai girl (F27) through a tutoring site 2 years ago. Since then, we have been in a texting basis and talk frequently. Until recently it was mostly study related and small talk. We’ve met a couple times in the last month or so. She is planning a to visit me at my home, stay the night so I can show her what rural Ohio is like.
Issue: I’m am not the most culturally diverse person. To be honest, I didn’t know that Taiwan and Thailand were two different places until a week ago. She is from northeast Thailand, a Buddhist, and the only girl to ever intimidate me with her beauty. I am a nervous wreck for her to see my home. It’s not messy or run down, I just don’t know Jack about her culture. Any tips or advice is welcome, ESPECIALLY what not to do.
