Newly single and overly confused

Hey reddit, this is my first post so please bare with me, I don't know what I'm doing but I'm seeking advice, or something. I'm a 28 yr old female who has suddenly found myself newly single in the midst of this quarantine and I have no idea how to compose myself. I've always been a super emotional gal, and through suffering a variety of mental health issues all things considered I'm pretty stable in the right environment.

Breaking up with my live in boyfriend recently has been a complete shock to my system. I started to realize after almost three years that he didn't love me, or even seem to particularly like me, but the life I'd provided seemed to suite him fine. It wasn't until he had nothing to do but spend time with me that I realized how entirely unappealing that thought was to him. After weeks of agonizing over no physical or emotional connection of any kind (despite a few of my desperate pleas) I had to do what was best for me and break up with him.

This sucks primarily because, you know, breakups. I am super heartbroken even though I know it's for the best but, like, now what?

My self esteem is so damaged, but I'm desperate for attention or connection, I went so long without it when I was taken.

How do I talk to people? Is it okay to try and connect if I'm not sure I'll want a relationship? Am I expected to open up? Or not? Where do I go? Is tinder still a thing? And most importantly, how crazy do I sound?
