Online dating is not for me.

I've been doing online dating since I was 19 years old now I'm 28. I just about to give up on it. I haven't had any luck in that time span, I haven't had anything even close to a hook up with online dating. Two days a good I was on bumble and I got a mutual match. I messaged first and I made sure it wasn't chessy or creepy. I made sure to complement her and I made sure say somethings about her profile. She messaged back and was really cool and she told me I was an attractive guy and she like white teeth. We talked about our backgrounds and what we do for a living which we both seemed very impressed with each others jobs. She asked me what I was looking for on bumble and I was upfront with her and told her I was looking for a relationship not just another friend I have plenty of those. I asked her what she was looking for and she said friends. Yet her profile on bumble said looking for relationship. She told me we wouldn't workout very because we were looking for different things and said best of luck to me. I'm not having any luck on dating apps maybe it's my dating profiles but at thw sametime I still get women who swipe right on me like they're interested. But I never get anywhere with them no matter if we're looking for hook ups or a relationship. I still think it's dumb that women are quick to say "I'm looking for friends on dating apps". Come on really??? To me that makes not since. I'm giving up on dating apps I would just rather meet people in person so I can catch their vibe from the start and see if it changes then I know what's up.
