Out of curiosity do any of you think its a red flag when they have a huge following on social media? Istagram

Just curious for those who are talking to someone who you become friends with on social media and see they have quite a bit of friends/followers on there. Do you think this is a red flag? I almost wondering why are they talking to me when it seems like they get a bunch of comments and likes elsewhere from girls! This one guy hasn’t left me alone for a few months now. While I do like him, I am just not sure if I am wasting my time. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with this? Am I overthinking?
