So I (29f) have been single for 8 years, after a few tough relationships. I always swore that online dating wasn’t for me because I have trust issues, but I’m starting to open up to the idea. Problem is – I don’t really have any pictures of just me by myself. I’m just not really a selfie taker and nor do I get friends to take pictures of me. So my question – ideally do you need mostly pictures of you on your own in dating profiles, alongside a few group shots? Or how about one picture of me and the rest are group pics? Is the only solution for me to build up a portfolio of selfies?
Also – what’s the oldest a picture can be and still acceptable to post? No pictures more than 3 years old? Or no pictures less than 1 year old? I wouldn’t say I’ve dramatically changed in any way in the last 5 years (even the last 10 years really) but I feel there’s a social custom I may be missing that pictures have to be fairly recent?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
