I (32M) have been single for almost 5 years now. I’ve been on a lot of dates but haven’t experienced that “click” in a very long time.
Anyway I’ve been quarantined for 2 months and when I do go out it’s by myself.
Yesterday I drove my truck down a winding scenic road that follows the river. I blasted music, rolled the windows down and just soaked up the entire experience.
15 miles later I arrived in a small town with a drive in A&W. Due to the virus it had been converted to a drive thru, so I went through and got a root beer float and a big burger. I then drove to a nearby river and sat at a picnic table and at it.
I stood by the river sipping the root beer, just enjoying the taste and feeling so grateful for that moment. I realized as far as dating goes I just want someone to share those kind of experiences with, and I’m willing to wait however long it takes for our paths to cross.
That’s all!
