Rejected after perfect dates

Hi there,

I just wanted to ask for your opinion which happened a few weeks ago since I can´t seem to get it.

I met a girl. We really had a great connection so much topics to discuss, communication was great etc… On the second date where we were doing a little walk with holding hands etc. I went in for a kiss and she appreciated it.

We commited on spending a weekend together. So we were at my place, cooked something together, had great talks (and also had sex which was great for both of us). When I walked her home, she started holding hands / kissing in public, taking pictures of us. So I assumed that she had a great time too (otherwise she wouldn´t have done that IMO). After she was home I texted her that I appreciated her time and asked if she wanted to meet again soon.

And thats where the confusion begins…she answered that she had a great time, everything was perfect but she didn´t think that her feelings are enough to move further. I texted that I felt sorry since i wanted to continue to get to knowing her which was the last message between us.

Why is someone starting to holding hands / kissing etc. in public, seem to have a great time and then cut the ties? Or am I missing something?

I really do not want to convince her to something she doesn´t want as I´m knowing my value but I just want to understand. Or what would you´ve done?
