Relationships are like businesses

You start a business with your partner, and mutually agree to put the time for it to work. At first, the two of you are really excited, because everything is working great, so you tell eachother you are meant to be together and that you will work hard to keep the business afloat.

But hard times come, and you start losing clients and money. What should someone do in these circumstances? That's right, try solving the problem by talking about it, and work hard to go through this harsh times, like you promised.

You have to understand that if your partner decides to shut down the business without your consent, or you feel like your partner isn't working on solving anything, the business will only go downhill.

If you have been dumped, remember that your partner didn't think it was worth it to keep the business afloat, and that they will probably find another partner with whom to start a new business.

If you dumped them, remember why you thought the business wasn't worth your time and work anymore.

Sometimes you want to open a bakery and they want to open a flower shop, and neither of you are willing to change your minds. It's okay, you will find a partner who wants to open a bakery with you some day.

The true nature of a relationship shows itself when you both have to put the work to go through rough moments.

Rmember, most of the successful businesses owners have failed in other businesses prior to the actual one, and they didn't wait until magically it worked again, but kept on looking forwards and took up new opportunities.
