scared/shy or not interested?

So there is this girl. She told me she is attracted to me and thinks i am good looking. We already meet up but only with other people around. When i ask her out (so we would be alone) she texted me twice shortly before that she can't make it… Should i keep asking her or should i look for other girls? I do really like her tho
