Whether in dating or in resumes, I just can’t find it in me to write a nice fluffy version of myself that fakes my good qualities under the belief that I’ll be able to become the good quality faster than I’m found out.
But every bit of dating advice is always a variation of “sell yourself”, put your best self out there or it’s your profile that’s holding you back. So how can I sell myself or make an interesting profile when my good qualities are mundane? How can I sell myself when I still want to find someone to like the real me but the real me also kind of sucks?
