Lockdown has given us all a lot of time to think and reflect. And for me I used some of my time to think about a few of my failed crusades. Specifically why they failed. I always come back to the same thing.
My down fall is that I always expect that if I just spend time with a girl, flirt, and be charming she will see my advances and reciprocate.
But by the time I feel ready to make my move all she sees me as is a friend. And that’s not her fault, it’s mine for acting like one.
I think I got this method subconsciously from TV shows. The main character and the love interest will spend 7 seasons flirting and just hanging out as friends, then BAM, in the last episode they end up together.
Don’t get lulled into this lazy dating strat. If you like someone be proactive, make your feelings known. Go out of your comfort zone to make her see you as more than a friend. Don’t just passively wait till it’s too late.
