Was taking to this girl on hinge. We were mid conversation talking about this trail in town we both like taking our dogs to. She stopped responding for a couple days so i asked if she wanted to take our dogs on a walk sometime. She agreed and we planned a day, which was Friday (today). I assumed it was clear that we were going to the trail we had been taking about. I asked what time and she asked if 6:30 was okay. I said 6:30 sounds good ?? she didn’t respond to that message, which was sent on Wednesday.
Today at 5:30 i message her just verifying if we were still on and i made my way to the trail. I wait around for a while then just walk my dog and go home. At 7 she messages me saying she hadn’t heard from me so she assumed we weren’t hanging out. I told her i thought we agreed to 6:30 and she said yeah but she didn’t know where. I explained that i thought it was at the trail we had been talking about but i can see how maybe it wasn’t entirely clear, but she had never responded to my message confirming the time so i had figured everything was set. She hasn’t responded to that so i sent s follow up asking to reschedule and have no response yet
To me this feels like just a bit of miscommunication, no big deal. I felt like if she wasn’t sure where, she could’ve asked me. She never responded and had 2 days to confirm if she wasn’t sure. I know i probably could’ve sent a confirmation text sooner that could’ve ironed out the details but we were both working and i figured plans were set. Now i feel like i fucked up and am bummed out
