She said she’s "Too Busy" To date?

I (26/M) met a girl (26/F) 2 weeks ago just by walking up to her on the street. We met up a few days later for drinks and it was AWESOME! We had a great conversation, learned a lot about each other, and at one point called out each other for blushing. I walked her back to hers and began to make out. She said I had a lot of confidence and liked how forward I was.

The next day I texted her saying I had a good time and would love to meet up again in a few days. She didnt respond for over 24 hours then when she said the day wasnt good but another day could work. I countered for Sunday and once again she didnt respond. But Im a sent-text and leave it kind of guy.

The next day I was leaving the gym and I ran into someone I knew. As I was talking to them the girl walked by with her dog and quickly said hi but as I was occupied with my friend I continued talking to them. She texted me after saying "Funny seeing me on the street and yes Sunday should work!"

After a few days of not talking, I texted her yesterday saying "Reservation has been set for 630. See you tomorrow". Once again, no response. At this point my Spidey Senses were going off.

Its now 6:28 today and Im nearing the restaurant. I look at my phone and there is text from her saying "she just finished work and her week was super busy. She also doesnt think she can invest time into this because her schedule is too busy".

Now usually if a girl said this to me I would just say "I understand. Let me know whenever youre free" and walked away. But the fact this girl texted me 2 minutes before the date and said she is too busy to date I had to call her out on it.

I simply replied – "I understand but I honestly dont appreciate the last minute text. A simple heads up would have been nice especially when I gave you plenty of time to respond. I understand youre super busy, but if youre interested and ever free let me know. If not thats fine"

Now I know she is a lawyer and also works in a bar. But I dont appreciate shit like that and think people do need to put in their place. Reckon that was a good response?
