I will say that this is a long distance situation and we live in different states. We went to high school together almost 8 years ago, but we recently got back in contact through a mutual friend. We were pretty close to dating back then, so I was hoping to rekindle some of the spark we had. He gave her my number and through the first couple of weeks she would send good morning texts and be super responsive to all of my messages for the most part. A lot of emojis and flirting. But I noticed that recently she has not been as responsive in her replies. She still sends me those good morning texts everyday, but now instead of getting back to me within the hour at the most, it now takes her 3-5 hours to get back to me. And the responses arent really as engaging as they used to be.
I know that the delayed responses are an indicator of waning interest, but my question is why does she still initiate every day even though she doesnt appear to be as interested as she was when we first reconnected? Is there any way to get her as into me as she was when we first started talking? The fact that she still initiates everyday does give me some hope.
In conclusion, I'll say that I wasn't expecting much to come out of this, seeing as we live so far apart. It still kinda sucks tho because I do like her. What are ya'lls opinion on this?
