The guy I was dating (2+ months) ended things with me via text message (yesterday). Am I in the wrong for not wanting to respond back to his breakup text? I’m not trying to be immature…I just feel blindsided by the whole thing and he didn’t even have the respect to tell me in person. We never fought and he never communicated to me that he just wasn’t feeling it anymore. Up until our last night spent together…nothing felt off. We always had great banter and lots of fun.
My friends have given me mixed responses…some saying I should wish him best of luck and others agree with me on not wanting to say anything at all. Am I doing the right thing or should I text back?
