I've (M17) been talking to a girl (F17) for several months, starting when we were still in school and through quarantine. Yesterday, I asked her to go on a hike, but she said that she couldn't because her grandparents were in town for a week and she couldn't leave the house until they left (due to the virus, it's quite isolated where i'm from but still some cases). I told her no worries and that she could let me know if another time worked in the future. She hasn't responded, but should I ask her again in a week or just wait to see if she ever responds? Does anybody have any other ideas?
