Should I trust this guy?

I recently approached a guy I really like and turns out, he’s at least a little bit interested in me as well. I gave him my number and he reached out. We’ve been texting for some time now but I’m just not sure if he’s what I want/looking for. He’s really flirtatious and hitting on me constantly. I’m afraid that he only sees me as a booty call because that’s really not what I’m into. I only approached him in the first place because I’d like to get to know him. I don’t know how to make that clear to him since I really don’t know him well and his constant flirting might just be his personality? It intimidates me. Does he like me? Does he only want to sleep with me? What do I do? Now he’s asked me out on a little “date”. He wants to go for a walk with me and I like that, I think it’s an original idea and we’ll just have to talk and get to know each other. I feel lost
